about the scholarship

We are committed.

The Magnolia (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is committed to making a difference in the community by providing transformational programming and opportunities. We are pleased to announce an educational scholarship for any eligible high school senior intending to continue their education during the 2024-2025 school year.

 

Information regarding scholarship application requirements are listed below:

  • Eligibility is limited to current high school seniors who will be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) undergraduate college degree program or accredited trade school during the 2023-2024 school year.

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in high school.

  • Each applicant must complete a scholarship application by clicking on the link below and submit it along with the following required documents:

  • Letter of recommendation from a teacher or school guidance counselor (please submit to magnolialinksscholarship@gmail.com)

  • 300 word response to essay prompt

  • Academic transcript

  • Two minute video of your personal statement

 

 

The Magnolia (GA) Links scholarship provides a one-time scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to pay for tuition, books, computers, accommodation, and any other educational expenses. We are looking for students dedicated to academic excellence no matter the field of study. This is our way of giving back and supporting individuals who want to pursue their dreams through education.

 

Please submit any and all required documents by the application deadline of June 1, 2024. We are excited to receive and review applicants and look forward to helping students achieve their post-secondary education goals.
